Privacy Policy

Bidaleel (بالدليل) is the Instagram account @bidaleel (formerly @xhamzaai), which explains new studies in health, science and AI, with their sources. Our Meta app and our TikTok app are private automations used only by our own accounts (Instagram, Facebook Page, TikTok @bidaleel). Contact: hamzafafouri49@gmail.com.

What the app does

• Publishes posts to the @bidaleel Instagram account.
• Sends our own videos to the inbox of our TikTok account @bidaleel as drafts, which we then finish and post in the TikTok app. It reads only that account’s basic profile and list of public videos, to know which draft was posted.
• When someone comments the keyword دليل on one of our posts, it sends that person one private message with the sources of the post (and the link to its article on this website), and replies to the comment to say the message was sent.
• Hosts this public blog, which explains each post in more detail.

Information we process

• Comments on our posts. Instagram sends us the comment text, the comment ID, the commenter’s Instagram-scoped ID and username, and the post ID. We use them only to check for the keyword and to send the private reply and the public reply. We keep only the comment ID, for 30 days, so the same comment is not answered twice. We do not store your username or your comment text.
• Direct messages. We send one message in response to your comment. We do not read, store or analyze messages you send to the account through this app.
• Our own accounts. The access tokens of @bidaleel (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), stored by us and our hosting provider. The TikTok app never accesses other people’s TikTok accounts.
• Website visitors. Our pages use no cookies, analytics or ads, and load nothing from third parties. We count article views and likes anonymously: one number per article, nothing about you. Your saved articles and likes are remembered only in your own browser. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
• Topic suggestions. If you use the “Suggest a topic” form, we store your question, the link and the Instagram handle if you give them, only to review the suggestion. To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for 24 hours, then delete it.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or share your information, use it for advertising, build profiles, or combine it with other data. Data is only handled by Meta (to deliver messages), TikTok (to receive our own videos) and Cloudflare (hosting), as needed to run the service.

Retention

Comment IDs are deleted automatically after 30 days. Nothing else about commenters is stored. Suggestions are kept while we review them; email us to have one deleted.

Your rights

You can delete your comment at any time. To ask what data we hold about you, or to have it deleted, follow the data deletion instructions or email hamzafafouri49@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
